Masks To Eliminate Blackheads

To correctly eliminate blackheads, it is best to go to a dermatologist. In a complementary way, we could consult with the professional about the use of the following homemade masks.

Masks to remove blackheads are one of the most common supplements to keep skin healthy and beautiful. Above all, in those people with acne or with a tendency to present blemishes.

Before telling you about some recipes, first we will briefly review what blackheads consist of and why it is necessary to treat them properly with the help of a dermatologist and, if the professional authorizes it, some homemade preparations.

Blackheads, a common discomfort

Blackheads are one of the most common types of skin blemishes. They appear for various reasons in areas such as the nose and chin, although they can also affect other areas of the face, such as the forehead, cheeks and even lower the chin and part of the neck.

To eliminate them, it is necessary to consult with the dermatologist and follow his indications, since the professional will evaluate the skin and determine what is the most convenient for its characteristics.

In general, people with oily skin and large pores are more prone to blackheads. Also those who have hormonal problems or do not have a proper cleaning routine.

    gelatin-milk-mask

When this mask dries, you will have a thin film on the skin that later, when you remove it, will take some blackheads with it.

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon of milk (15 ml).
    • 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin (10 g).

    Preparation

    • Warm the milk for a few seconds in the microwave.
    • In a bowl, mix both ingredients.
    • Heat in the microwave for about 10 seconds.
    • Wash your face and apply the mask with the help of a brush or a cotton ball. Be careful that it is not too hot.
    • Put more in the areas where you have blackheads.
    • After a few minutes, when it is completely dry, carefully remove and rinse the face with plenty of water.

      3. Bentonite clay mask

      Ingredients

      • 1 tablespoon of clay (20 g).
      • Water (sufficient quantity).

      Preparation

      • In a bowl, mix the bentonite clay and water.
      • Apply on the face, previously washed, making circular movements.
      • Wait 15 minutes (or until it dries) and remove with warm water.

      4. Oatmeal and honey mask

      Ingredients

      • 3 tablespoons of oatmeal (30 g).
      • 2 tablespoons of honey (50 g).

      Preparation

      • Mix the oatmeal with the honey to make a lumpy paste.
      • Apply it on the areas where there are blackheads.
      • Leave on for about 20 minutes and remove with warm water.

      5. Egg white mask

The egg has many nutrients, which is why it is included in several beauty treatments. In this case, the white can help us to make one of the masks to eliminate blackheads.

      Ingredients

      • 2 egg whites.

      Preparation

      • Lightly beat the egg whites (by hand or with an electric mixer).
      • Cut strips of kitchen paper and place one on the area you want to treat (for example, the nose).
      • With the help of a brush, take some of the egg white and spread it on top of the paper. The idea is that the paper works as a band-aid.
      • Soak the egg white well and let it dry.
      • Pull the paper gently.

      6. Coarse salt and tomato mask

      Ingredients

      • 2 tablespoons of raw and natural tomato puree (40 g).
      • 1 tablespoon of coarse salt (10 g).

      Preparation

      • If you don’t use the tomato puree, you can mash a small tomato.
      • Mix the puree with the salt.
      • Apply to affected areas and massage gently while it works.
      • Remove with lukewarm water.

      7. Cinnamon and honey mask

Both ingredients can act as exfoliators. We recommend that you apply this mask at night.

      Ingredients

      • 2 tablespoons of honey (50 g).
      • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon (10 g).

      Preparation

      • In a bowl, place the honey and pour in the cinnamon little by little.
      • Mix well to get a smooth paste.
      • Apply on the nose or where the blackheads are.
      • Leave on for a while before removing with plenty of warm water.

Are the blackheads not gone? Consult with your dermatologist

Use these masks only if your dermatologist authorizes you, since there may be ingredients that are not the most suitable for your skin type. Also, remember that you should not replace the acne treatment that you have been prescribed with any home remedy, or you will make it difficult to obtain good results.

Masks to eliminate blackheads are an easy option to prepare and apply, but they must be used wisely to maintain the health of the skin.
