Arnica Ointment To Reduce Varicose Veins And Spider Veins

To relieve discomfort in the legs derived from varicose veins and spider veins, there are those who resort to arnica ointment.

Arnica ointment is one of the most popular natural remedies out there. It has not been shown to alleviate varicose veins on the skin, but it seems to be helpful in relieving discomfort such as swelling and the feeling of heaviness in the legs.

Varicose veins usually appear as a result of a difficulty in the circulatory system; which dilates the veins and capillaries, almost always in the lower extremities.

They are reddish or purple in color and, since they cause inflammation, they are usually quite noticeable on the skin.

They usually develop in the calves and inner thighs, although they can also originate in other parts of the body.

Most begin to suffer from them during pregnancy, or from the age of 50 as a result of hormonal changes that the body undergoes.

Regardless of their cause, those who suffer from them seek to minimize them; not only because they affect the beauty of the legs, but also because they can cause inflammation and pain.
