Prepare This Tasty Crab Dip

There is nothing richer than the  crab dip to dip with bread spikes or spread on toast. It is perfect for an aperitif or a snack with friends and it also has the great advantage that it is prepared very quickly and with things that we always have in the fridge. Here we present several recipes for crab dip, to enjoy a quick appetizer.

Option 1: crab dip

Ingredients:

  • 200g cheese spread
  • 16 crab sticks (or 200g surimi)
  • A little of oil
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Process

  • Put the cheese spread in a bowl along with the crab sticks.
  • Beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Option 2: crab dip with avocado

Ingredients:

  • 150g crab sticks
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, which is sweeter, although it is worth any.
  • 2 eggs
  • Sunflower oil
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper

Process

  • Boil the eggs for 12 minutes.
  • Let them cool, peel them and separate the yolks from the whites.
  • Crumble the yolks and place them in a medium bowl.
  • Add the mustard. Stir well until the yolk is integrated into the mustard.
  • Add the oil mixed with the lemon juice.
  • Emulsify the mustard with the oil, as if it were a mayonnaise. To do this, drop a line of oil, while beating the mustard with a fork.
  • Once all the oil is incorporated, add the egg whites and the chopped surimi.
  • Mix well with the mixer and serve.

Option 4: crab and cream cheese dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of shredded crab (or crab sticks)
  • 1 stick of cream cheese
  • ½ tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • ½ tablespoon of tabasco
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

Process

  • Preheat the oven to 200ºC
  • Place all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
  • Transfer mixture to medium soufflé container.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden.

Option 5: easy crab dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of crab sticks
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 sprigs of parsley
  • Half a cup of toasted sesame seeds
  • The juice of two lemons
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Soy sauce
  • Crackers, toasts, or toast

Process:

  • Finely chop the crab, onion and parsley.
  • Place them in a deep bowl and add the mayonnaise, sesame, lemon juice and soy sauce.
  • Serve accompanied with cookies.
